Glad to see you have arrived at this final point in Step One armed now with both Your
Passion and Your Keyword Niche tucked under both arms.
This exercise should be a lot easier now that you know exactly what you are looking for and what
the Wants of your market are.
So....Let's head off and locate the mine of information that you will be digging into for a day or
so.
Our first stop...
Google and Yahoo Groups. - You should be joining the
groups that are concerned with your Passion.
Please don't go charging in like a demented Dervish, waving your product around or giving away
freebies. Be discreet. Stay in the background and just ask a few simple questions. Then 'up the
ante' and start giving some replies. Become an 'authority' in your group, someone who most of the
group turn to with a question. Now gently draw out your mallet....Voila! You can now start gently
pointing them in the direction of your brand new shiny product.
Google, Yahoo and MSN Search - Put your chosen keyword
in the search box and have a really good look to see what information is being handed out.
Go a few pages deep with your search. Just because it isn't on the first page doesn't mean the
information is rubbish, just that the optimisation of their page is a bit off the mark. Now then...
There's nothing stopping you from printing off the information that you consider to be useful to
you and your market.
If you do want to use the information please make sure that you re-word it in your own style. You
could end up trouble if you 'steal' content from one site and paste it into your own.
Magazines. - You must have seen some magazines on your
chosen project otherwise you wouldn't have chosen it, right? So....Check out the magazine and
see if you can find something that you didn't know. Something that your market would like to
know. Once again. Use your own words to convey the message to your market.
Books - As above.
Can you see what is starting to happen?
You are now becoming more learned in your passion.
You will now be able to come across to others as someone
who really understands the subject.
You are becoming
an 'expert'!
This is why the RESEARCH side of Your Business should not be overlooked.
You need to:
Find the subject that you are passionate about
Find the level of knowledge that you have within that
niche
Make sure that you have a Market
Find out what their WANTS are
Find out what your competitors are doing
Find out which competitors are constantly holding top
positions
Find out how your competitors 'tick'
Always keep taking notes.
Well, I think I've just about covered all that we need for this part of your
journey.
Please remember to keep using the The Bull Free Zone. Always remember to give a little something
back. If you think that you can offer a fellow friend a helping hand with an obstacle he or she
might be having troubles with, extend your hand. You never know when that hand might be
extended back to you.
Well done for completing up to this
stage.
Time to move on to the next stage of the learning curve and learn How to Create Your Very
Own Product...
